Nell Tercek is a fashion designer who has a passion for creating conceptual designs while exploring collaborative, sustainable, and ethical practices. She grew up in New York where she earned her BFA in Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She discovered her love for knitwear in Italy, where she lived for 2 years, completing her education at Politecnico di Milano. In 2021 Nell debuted her designs at Denver Fashion Week, showing her collection titled Second Skin. Currently, Nell spends her days connecting with the local fashion community through her work at Disco Apocalypse, a colorful women-operated second hand store in downtown Boulder. While she is not gathering inventory for the store from local vintage resellers, Nell enjoys working in her at-home studio giving new life to thrifted finds, hopping between local restaurants, knitting, and styling herself in her vintage designer and second hand wardrobe.
