At Madelife, we are committed to fostering a community that not only celebrates but actively welcomes and protects diversity in all its forms.

We believe that the strength of our community lies in the unique perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences that each participant brings. To ensure that everyone feels valued and respected, we have established the following principles:

  • Commitment to Welcoming and Protecting Diversity: Madelife is dedicated to creating an environment where individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities feel welcome and included. We celebrate diversity as a source of strength and inspiration, and we are committed to challenging discrimination and bias whenever and wherever it occurs.  We dedicate ourselves to regularly having discussions about inclusive language and conduct and how we can all keep each other accountable.

  • Policies on Bullying: Bullying of any kind is not tolerated at Madelife. We have strict anti-bullying policies in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. These policies are designed to protect individuals from any form of harassment or intimidation and to create a culture of respect and kindness.

  • Creating Safe Spaces for Participants from Diverse Backgrounds: We recognize the importance of providing safe spaces for all participants. Madelife is committed to actively creating and maintaining safe and inclusive spaces that encourage open dialogue, collaboration, and personal growth. Our staff and community members are dedicated to promoting an environment where everyone can express themselves freely and without fear of discrimination.

  • Historically Boulder has not been a racially diverse city.  In an effort to support racial diversity in Boulder and at Madelife, Madelife closely follows and when possible supports local diversity initiatives such as Streetwise Arts.

We believe that by upholding these principles, Madelife can continue to be a place where diversity is celebrated, where individuals are empowered to express themselves authentically, and where creative and personal growth flourishes. We welcome all participants to join us in fostering an inclusive, respectful, and supportive community where everyone can thrive.
