Our Gap Year Program offers two tiers of engagement tailored to your needs. Choose between 8 hours or 12 hours per week of enriching activities and mentorship. This immersive experience is ideal for individuals aged 18-23 who are seeking to make their creative dreams a reality.

As of 2024, 7% of our participants attend Madelife on a full scholarship. 21% of recent Madelife participants are LGBTQ+.
Located in Boulder, Colorado, madelife is a dynamic creative hub, work + gallery space, design and sound studio. We foster a vibrant creative ecosystem through our mentorship-based Creative Accelerator program, art exhibitions showcasing local work, collaborations with creative nonprofits, live events and workshops, video and music production, and community gatherings. Our mutable space allows for spontaneous creativity, where you never know who might walk through the door.
