"I love working as a mentor at Madelife because there is truly nothing like seeing someone learn, grow, and blossom based on what you have shared and taught them about your own experience as an artist, and how the mentoring of craft and experience can birth a new artist shining in the world.”

— Toni Oswald, Writing and Acting Mentor

Career Opportunities

  • Professional Mentor

The primary duties of Mentors are in tutoring, assisting, and facilitating the success of Creative Accelerants in the Madelife Program. As all accelerator programs have individualized curriculums, this involves all aspects of preparing material, moderating the workflow, and critiquing work, as well as working with and delivering updates on these processes to the respective Creative Coordinator. For this, a particular knowledge base is required for a Mentor, and this depends on the professional mentor’s particular realm of expertise.

  • Internships

We support students and professionals in three highly competitive internship sessions in the fall, spring, and summer. We are offering a paid internship that typically last 13 weeks. Most interns commit 10-35 hours a week and hours are flexible depending on other commitments. We offer multiple ways for interns to learn and equip themselves with the necessary skills to move forward in their desired careers. We want to see interns accomplish their short term goals, long term goals, and have the best internship experience possible!
