Caffeinated Mornings is this Friday!
If your job is tied to creating anything, you’ve more than likely failed. In creative circles the “F word” is talked about a lot, but what does it really mean? Heck, the mere mention of the word is often taken as a be-all, end-all, bad thing. But maybe “failure” deserves a re-definition or at least some clarity on what the word can or should mean to anyone who creates.
For some, “failure” is simply part of their process. For some, it’s the only way they learn. And “failure” is something anyone who has ever created anything, has experienced, more than likely multiple times often in the course of “just a regular” day. This discussion is an opportunity to hear from a panel of seasoned veterans, Creative Director, Writer, Brand and Ad-guy, Evan Fry, Illustrator and Designer, Kara Fellows and Software architect/developer, Ted Rice, discuss what failure means to them, how it informs their processes and how it has made them the professionals they are today.
