Graphic Arts Camp at madelife finished the week strong with some graphic skill building sessions led by local design professionals. On Thursday, our 14 camp participants were led through a colorful workshop about color principles by madelife design interns Bonnie Hoffmann and Catherine Harden. A screen printing workshop, led by Alan Peters of Jupiter Visual, followed and the class learned the basics of screen printing while printing custom posters and shirts. Local artist and bookmaking expert ,McDavid Henderson, was the guest instructor for Friday, leading the class through the unique process of creating their own handmade books.
Madelife Graphic Arts Campers left the week with a new set of fundamental graphic skills while having the chance to unplug and connect and create with the graphic art community in Boulder.
