Light and Sound Sculptures bring new dimension to experiential art in Jen Lewin’s “It’s Electric.” The solo exhibition features six interactive light and sound sculptures that encourage participants to experiment (& play) with the art itself. In “It’s Electric” you will find surprises with every motion: hop from pod to pod across a pond of candy colored light. With one swipe of your hand, activate ethereal sounds from a lazer harp. Dance or sway in front of a responsive, glimmering chandelier to create your own light show. Lewin’s use of technology pushes the limits on experiential installations, and is sure to encourage the viewer’s delight. “It’s Electric” will be on display through July 27th, 2013 at the CU Art Museum, in Boulder.
