About the Instructor:

With a Master of Arts from Johns Hopkins University, owner Georgia English is happier doing upholstery than teaching fiction.  After raising her twin boys in Arkansas she sewed a small clothing line called Peach Pavlova and learned about fabrics and the construction of clothing. She then moved to Colorado and apprenticed for the original owner of the Upholstery Shop, Bill Adams, who taught her to web and tie springs and saw a that she not only had an appreciation for furniture and the challenges each piece presented but that she tackled those challenges with eagerness and care.  With her background as a clothing designer, she is an expert at incorporating colors and textiles into existing residences and advising people on fabric choices that will reflect their lifestyle.
